Before you snap, be sure to FOCUS!

Hey ALL! Sorry I haven't posted in a few days. I'd love to tell you just how busy I've been, but the truth is I've been feeling rather lazy lately. Today I'm focusing on regaining my motivation and getting prepared for a rocking end of April.

Being a Mom has completely changed my life. Instead of saying, "I want to do that eventually", I began to saying, "Now is the time to do what I love.".

As a parent you wake up each day wanting to show and teach your child so much, because we remember how fast the years go by. Life does get crazy though. We have ups and downs in our own personal struggles, whether it be work, financially, relationships, or even our faith. But it's what we do in those struggles that mold our child(ren) to who they will be and what they will become.

Today I want to take some time to focus on the blessings I have in life and not concentrate on struggles. I WILL look to what I CAN do to make things better, and not what I SHOULD HAVE done.
Today is also National Pay it Forward Day! No matter how small of a deed you are able to do or say, make a difference in someone else's life, and it is sure to change the world. And we ALL know how this world NEEDS more love.

Reuse your Scentsy DAY FIVE

As the week comes to an end, so does the posting of ideas on ways to reuse your empty Scentsy Layers Bath Tablets container. Today's idea has the home office or kids study area in mind. Fill up your container with markers, pens or even crayons (lit will fit back on top depending on crayon size). Great way to keep track of those always much needed writing utensils or kids coloring crayons on the go.

My Little Scentsy Expert

Every time UPS brings us a white and purple box, both me and my son, Gibson, are like kids in a candy store. Ready to tear it open and check out all the new stuff and make sure it's up to our standards. Today's delivery brought us the monthly specials Scentsy is offering next month.

Well it's day four already and today's re-purpose idea is perfect for those going on trips, going to the cabin/beach this summer, and even those young ladies about to go off to college. Reuse your Scentsy DAY THREE

Here is yet another great idea to reuse your empty Scentsy Layers Bath Tablet container(s). This one is for the handy men (or women) out there! Those containers some nails come in aren't always the easiest to use or open, and I will admit that I have nails go flying everywhere if it doesn't close all the way. Simply empty the nails in your Bath Tablets container and put the lid back on. For those of you who want even more organization, its easy to take the size of the nails on the outside of the container with clean packaging tape or just put the size in the side of the container.
*and yes some of the remaining fragrance from the Bath Tablets will still be in the container and the more you leave the lid on it the longer the fragrance will last!

Love of Scentsy is genetic!

Today was the day to switch out the wax in my son, Gibson's warmer. He is always wants to be included in my work, so today we sat down together so HE could select which wax he wanted. I grabbed my basket of bars I have for my own personal use, and he began to sniff away! Handing me the ones he didn't want, and making a pile of the ones he liked.

He finally selected Happy Birthday! I grabbed the warmer bowl and he put a cube in it. He was so happy to be a part of the process and take pride in HIS warmer.

Next time it's time to change out the wax in a warmer, take the time to include the ones who are important to YOU! Kids love knowing that their opinion matters, and giving them a say in small things, reminds them how much they mean to you and that their opinion matters.

I have seen in stores cotton swab containers and after seeing the price on these plain little wonders I thought, why not reuse something you already have? And even better, why not something that would normally be put in the trash! Today's re-purpose idea comes directly from those thoughts.
